Anna Vigdorova is an Associate Attorney at Geman Law, whose practice focuses primarily on criminal defense and personal injury matters. Anna graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2018; during her time there, Anna was a member of the Moot Court Board, worked on post-conviction prisoners’ rights litigation, and completed clerkships for the Hon. Michelle Amico of the 18th Judicial District, the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, and the San Diego Federal Public Defender’s Office.
Anna dedicated her legal career to zealous advocacy on behalf of those accused of crimes and accepted a position as a Deputy Public Defender with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender upon graduating from law school. Spending a total of four years at the Public Defender’s office, Anna practiced in multiple jurisdictions across the state, from Douglas County to El Paso County to Denver, and represented hundreds of indigent clients at a time on all levels of misdemeanor and felony charges.
Anna’s passion for social justice began during her time as an undergraduate at Saint Louis University (GO BILLIKENS!). Anna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management and Policy while working for the St. Louis Regional Health Commission where she focused on eliminating health disparities and improving equitable healthcare access for the uninsured and underinsured in St. Louis City and County.
Anna has extensive experience in the courtroom and is a skilled litigator, having conducted a multitude of hearings on motions to suppress evidence, bond, protection orders, prosecutorial misconduct, and exclusion of expert testimony as well as preliminary hearings, proof evident/presumption great hearings, and sentencing hearings. Anna’s trial experience includes nearly 30 jury trials on charges such as DUI, domestic violence, child abuse, assault, motor vehicle theft, all levels of drug felonies, sexual assault, and all levels of homicide. In addition to her criminal defense practice, Anna also has experience with civil litigation and personal injury matters and has secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements for her clients.
Anna is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and the Colorado Bar Association. Additionally, Anna speaks fluent Russian, and in her free time enjoys cheering on the Colorado Avalanche and being the cool aunt to her godchildren, Beau and June.
