What you’ll be doing:

  • Daily court appearances;
  • Filing and litigating pretrial motions from bond and protection order modifications to discovery, suppression, and motions in limine;
  • Keeping clients up to date on the status of their cases and what to expect next;
  • Carefully recording notes from all client interactions and court appearances;
  • Working with investigators and expert witnesses;
  • Trying cases to verdict

  • Excel
  • Microsoft Teams
  • PowerPoint

 

You have:

  • Active Colorado license in good standing;
  • D. from accredited law school;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in criminal defense;
  • An understanding of Titles 18 and 42, Criminal Procedure, 1 CCR 211-2, and 5 CCR 1005-2;
  • Familiarity with DUI cases and Express Consent hearings;
  • Reliable transportation

 

Compensation:

  • Salary commensurate with experience;
  • Percentage of origination, paid quarterly
